We're pleased to offer an exciting new role for a talented Videographer/Editor to help us shape the future of our film offering. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys storytelling, creative freedom and working within a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience working across many different commercial projects, with a showreel that demonstrates this.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the entire film production process, from initial client meetings and concept development, through to delivery of the final product. You’ll work closely with clients and our creative team to deliver engaging and impactful video content, that will be used across various platforms.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have extensive experience and be confident within a self-shooting and directing environment.
- Have lots of experience working across a variety of commercial projects, with a showreel that demonstrates creative flair.
- Be highly experienced in all aspects of cinematography, including lighting, sound and camera operation.
- Help create treatments that communicate creative vision effectively.
- Be a skilled user of industry-standard software platforms, such as Adobe CC and Final Cut Pro X.
- Be a very competent colourist.
- Be extremely comfortable with sound design.
- Be comfortable working under pressure and too sometimes tight deadlines.
- Have the ability to manage the entire production process, including pre-production, shooting and post-production.
- Be able to direct on-set activities, working with talent and a small crew to ensure the creative vision is executed.
- Oversee casting, location scouting.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination among all team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all deliverables, including colour grading, sound, design and visual effects.
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about all projects, with the goal of delivering something amazing!
This position is not suitable for remote working and requires the candidate to be based full-time in our studio in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You will also spend a large amount of time on location throughout the UK and occasionally Europe with clients.
Transportation
You must have your own reliable transportation and also be comfortable using public transport if required. All mileage, travel expenses and food on shoots will be covered.
