Following years of successful collaboration, IKEA approached us to make a short film teasing the arrival of its new flagship London store in Greenwich.
The aim: Create a piece which harmonised the quirky IKEA brand, with iconic London culture, whilst highlighting the important sustainability journey the new store has undertaken.
The Posh Gecko creative team worked on the project from brief to completion; proposing the concept, storyboarding, scriptwriting, location scouting and recruiting actors when required.
Filming took place at a variety of locations around London and the new IKEA Greenwich store. Voiceover management and music content was also managed and edited by Posh Gecko.
The final video beautifully captures the concepts outlined within the original brief, blending the London and IKEA cultures to welcome the new store within the Greenwich community.
