World Animal Protection is highlighting the inhumane conditions in which pigs are kept in factory farming around the world as part of their international #RaisePigsRight campaign.
The campaign is exposing the overuse of antibiotics in low welfare factory farms, resulting in meat harvesting superbugs ending up on supermarket shelfs and subsequently on your dinner plate.
The aim: Create an emotive social video campaign which brings these issues to life and acts as a catalyst for change.
The audience: The campaign targeted 11 countries around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Spain and more.
We worked closely with World Animal Protection to capture the essence of their campaign and convey the hard-hitting truth within an engaging and exposing video. The Posh Gecko creative team worked on this project from concept to completion:
– Develop concepts
– Storyboard visuals
– Film with an industry leading team
– Complete all necessary post-production to create deliverables
– Delivery of the necessary video files in all formats required
Given the international audience, eleven versions of the video was produced, each with subtitles translated for their respective audience.
Using visual metaphors for the suffering and disease, we created this striking film, reminding the viewer that ‘You are what you eat.’
World Animal Protection utilised the hard-hitting video to support their wider #RaisePigsRight social campaign across the world.
